Biggest Bad Beat Jackpot in Black Hawk:  Lodge Poker Room  $400,000

Golden Gates will be starting the Heartland Poker Tour on Friday, April 1st.

Ameristar and Lady Luck both hit Bad Beats this past week.

The Isle of Capri Poker Room is opening on Tuesday, April 12th.  They will be implementing an innovative new Bad Beat structure.

“Splash the Pot” April 4th through April 7th from 1:00pm to 10:00pm.  $50 splashed into a pot at a randomly drawn table each half hour .
“Friday 2 Fifty”  Each hour from 1:00pm to 10:00pm on Fridays, each table will deal a 5 card hand face up on the table.  Then the table with the best hand deals each player at that table a 5 card hand face up.  The player with the best hand gets $250.

Daily Tournaments – buy ins vary, 12:00pm, 3:00pm and 7:00pm
“$20,000 Super Sunday Tournament”  12:00pm every Sunday.  $100 buy in with two $100 rebuys.

Promotions:
“Lucky Bucket Splash Pot Poker” Starts April 15th.  Between 2:00pm and 12:00am on Friday, Saturday & Sunday in April.  Each hour a randomly selected table is drawn – winner of the pot get an envelope with up to $500 in cash or tournament credit.

Comps: $5 per hour for 1/2-10 SL and 10/20 Omaha Hi/Lo, $1 per hour for all other games

Bad Beat Qualifier: Aces full of Kings (qualifier decreases each Monday if the Bad Beat Jackpot isn’t hit and the backup is $52,500 or more)

“Showers of Cash Drawings” A name will be drawn and the winner gets cash.  If no winner is present the cash gets rolled into the next drawing.  For the 1:00am drawing names will be drawn until a winner is present.  Drawings at 3:00pm for $50, 6:00pm for $50, 9:00pm for $100, 11:00pm for $50, 1:00am for $100.

Bad Beat Qualifier: “Quad of the Day”
This is a bit different.  If the “quad of the day” is made, then another hand that day that beats the “quad of the day” activates the Bad Beat.  For example:  if it’s Monday, the “Quad of the Day” is 8888.  If someone gets quad eights, then someone else hits a better hand at any time that day, the Bad Beat gets awarded.

Monday: 8888, Tuesday: 9999, Wednesday: TTTT, Thursday: JJJJ, Friday: QQQQ, Saturday: KKKK, Sunday: AAAA
